Blog Hop
Welcome to our StampInkPaper Team Mother's Day Blog Hop. A blog hop is where you 'hop' from blog to blog linked by the same theme, you may have arrived here from Carolyn Campbell-McLean's blog, or just happened upon the tour by chance. Our theme is of course Mother's Day. Each of our team members have made a card using Stampin'Up! products.
My Mum is a woman of simple taste- no frills or flowers for her! I knew she would love something so plain and simple. I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest (a great way to spend 5 hours). The card was inspired by Amiee Cretsinger. It was made by using three shades of green using a stamp from the Betsy's Blossom set. I then punched out the images with three sizes of circle punches (2 1/2", 1 3/4" and 1 1/4"). I used Stampin' Dimensionals to give the tree some depth. I then attached a red (Real Red) heart using the Small Heart Punch. The trunk was hand cut and I ran it through the big shot using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. The 'Mum' greeting was from a versatile stamp set called For My Family. I love how it it a set that spells 'Mum' like we do here in Australia.
When you have finished here, you can continue the hop through the link at the end of this post to the next team member's creations.
